Trying to draw a little each day

My son loves to request Animals. So each day, I have been drawing hims something. Usually, he wants me to cut them out. Frustrating, but touching for him to be so in to it.

Hey good work on the carvings, you seem to have got the links and the ball in cages down. Have you ever heard of a Welsh Love Spoon? You might be interested in carving one

I've started one, but was way too ambitious on the design. I messed it up fairly early on, so I set it aside. I periodically pick it back up again and work on it a little. I might scrap it and reuse the wood for something else, or else try to simplify the design.
